Lamborghini Revuelto – The First HPEV V12 Supercar

Overview

The Lamborghini Revuelto was unveiled in March 2023 as the successor to the Aventador. It is Lamborghini’s first High-Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) – a plug-in hybrid supercar (PHEV) that fuses the raw emotion of a naturally aspirated V12 with advanced electric power.

Its name “Revuelto” (Spanish for scrambled/mixed up) perfectly represents the fusion of tradition (V12) and innovation (electrification).

Engine & Performance

  • Engine: 6.5L naturally aspirated V12 (newly developed, lighter, more powerful)

  • Electric Motors: 3 (one integrated into the gearbox, two on the front axle)

  • Battery: 3.8 kWh lithium-ion, rechargeable via plug-in or regenerative braking

Unlike the Sián (which used a supercapacitor), the Revuelto uses a true plug-in hybrid system with electric-only drive mode (up to ~10 km) for city driving.
