Hennessey Venom F5

Hennessey Venom F5 is popular in USA

Hennessey Venom F5 – America’s 300+ mph Hypercar

The Hennessey Venom F5 is a limited-production American hypercar built by Hennessey Special Vehicles to chase one goal: becoming the fastest road car in the world. Introduced in 2020, the F5 is named after the F5 category tornado, the strongest on the Fujita scale, symbolizing its extreme speed and power.

Design & Aerodynamics

The Venom F5’s body is engineered with ultra-light carbon fiber for maximum strength and minimum weight:

  • Extremely low, wide stance for stability at over 300 mph.

  • Sculpted air intakes and channels for cooling and downforce.

  • Smooth, teardrop-shaped profile to reduce drag.

  • Active aerodynamic elements for high-speed balance.

The entire design focuses on achieving stability at unprecedented speeds, while still turning heads with aggressive supercar proportions.

Engine & Performance

At its heart lies the "Fury" engine:

  • 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged V8

  • 1,817 horsepower and 1,617 Nm of torque

  • 7-speed single-clutch automated manual

  • 0–100 km/h (0–62 mph) in under 3 seconds

  • 0–200 km/h (0–124 mph) in around 4.7 seconds

  • Target top speed: 500 km/h (311+ mph) (still being verified)

The engine is custom-built, combining massive displacement with lightweight design for incredible power-to-weight ratio.

Chassis & Handling

  • Carbon-fiber monocoque weighing just 86 kg.

  • Curb weight: around 1,360 kg (2,998 lbs) – lighter than many supercars with half the power.

  • Rear-wheel drive layout with performance-tuned suspension.

  • Michelin Pilot Cup 2 tires designed to withstand extreme speeds.

Hennessey tuned the suspension and steering to make the F5 usable at low speeds while remaining rock-solid at 300+ mph.

Interior & Technology

The cabin is driver-focused with minimal distractions:

  • Exposed carbon fiber surfaces and Alcantara trim.

  • A central digital display for speed, gear, and performance data.

  • Simple switchgear to reduce weight and complexity.

  • Seating for two, with tight but functional space.

Everything inside serves the purpose of lightness and speed—luxury is secondary.

Key Highlights

  • American-made hypercar aiming to break the 300 mph barrier.

  • 1,817 hp from a bespoke 6.6L twin-turbo V8.

  • Extreme lightweight carbon construction.

  • Built in only 24 units for global customers.

  • Represents Hennessey’s bold challenge to Bugatti, Koenigsegg, and SSC in the hypercar speed wars.
